A new direction from artist, executive producer & creative director
One day I woke up and realized "I'm exactly who I think I am."
That revelation could sound inspiring until you simultaneously question who you actually think you are. Not who you want to be. Not who you were. And surely not the professional titles you've collected and decorated yourself with.
As I wrestled with that notion for days upon days, I finally came to one conclusion that changed my entire perspective, direction and, quite frankly, my entire existence.
And that was this; perhaps I am in pursuit of the wrong thing. I'm not who I think I am but who God created me to be.
Many of us find ourselves on lifelong pursuits to get to where we believe we are supposed to be.
But I am beginning to believe we are already there.
When Jesus encountered the numerous temptations of Satan, his tactic remained the same; he continuously challenged Jesus about who He said He was. One of the most important things to remember here is that Jesus shared identities with the One who created Him.
Perhaps Satan is still using the same strategy. Challenging us about who God says we are and all that He's installed within us. The same strategy that would make thousands of liberated people roam a dessert for Forty Years.
Well, the day I decided to stop searching and start being is when that journey ended for me.
